a documentary film trailer

Looks great - nice cinematography and editing. What did you shoot it with?

It's intriguing to follow five poor families on Chinese New Year, and their stories sounded compelling, but I was missing a sense of cohesion amongst them. In some cases I really didn't know what event they were specifically referring to, so it felt like too much disjointed information for me to get an overall sense of what to expect from the piece.

Because you've achieved a consistent look and feel for the trailer, I found myself responding to it as a continuous narrative, so I kept looking for connections between the stories and felt that the people talking about the death of their father had something to do with the man who tried to kill himself, even though I had read that this film concerns five different families.

But the opening story, the man who tried to kill himself on numerous occasions, really worked because it had a very clear progression and worked because your editing gave it an odd (yet not inappropriate) comic timing, which was surprising and made me immediately interested.

That said, I'm very anxious to see the film. Will it be playing in the states?

King,
That was a very moving trailer. I am anxious to see the entire documentary. When will it be available?
