A Digital Cinema Package Question...

Maybe this is a stupid question, but... why colors in DCP when played in
EasyDCP player look so different than the origina dpx files?
They look dull, washed, kind of pastel...
Any light on the subject will be highly appreciated...

1/　How are you converting to view your DPX files and on what OS

2/ How are you viewing your DCP?

I'm on a PC, using AE to convert my DPX files.

I'm viewing the DCP on easyDCP player.
Is there any other way to view them?

AE is a great program.

Im on mac, so Im not sure what the pc users of the world are using. But on Mac Gluetools is the way to go. It allows you to work with DPX files natively.

Id recommend that you pop over to reduser, youll find a lot more discussion on DPX and how people are working.
