A device for the most lifelike 'First Person' view?

I was wondering if there was a special kind of camera or sort of rig I could purchase or perhaps make - to most realistically depict a view through MY eyes. Preferably, I would like something to wear over my head/eyes.

I've checked out those cameras for sports use; i.e those used for biking/skiing uses - they seem alright, but they all look like they're mounted on a helmet ABOVE the eye level.

To reiterate, I'm looking for a POV eye level mounted camera.

Thanks!

I have sunglasses with a camera on eye level right between the eyes.....they cost 6000 $ though....signal is transmitted via fiberglass. there are tons of cheap chinese knockoffs for 60 bucks which you can forget.....

Six thousand, jeez.

What're they called, just for references sake :D

cant find the website, bought it over 4 years ago from a dealer in Germany but it was made in USA, the ccd data is transmitted via fiberglass to a belt worn box which outputs the video signal, this makes the part that sits in the glasses much smaller....but if you want just the POV you can take any finger camera and mount it to the frame of some glasses or on the head with a rubber fixture like these mining lamps. totally forget the cheapo stiff from china! better rent a real high quality finger camera. sony makes a HD device with recorder with AVCHD

Oh okay. Thanks for that, appreciated.

Does anybody else have any solutions for this.. that're slightly less wallet hurtful?
