Hello good DVX Users. I've always been a Premiere user (not contentedly) and I've just been trying out this trial version of Vegas 6. I've got a couple questions if I may....
1. How do you add an effect to an audio clip (not the entire track) and preview it realtime. All I can find is to add a "Non-real time effect" which is quite annoying. What if I want to adjust the effect and hear my changes? Why could I do this real time to an entire track, but not to a clip? Vegas's audio features seems to be one of its selling points, so I'm sure there's something I'm missing.
2. Is there an easier way to adjust opacity handles in Vegas, and have them set on the CLIP, not the TRACK? I don't like this "lock envelopes to events" thing. Is there a way I can easily just adjust the envelopes individual to each event?
3. I would like to cut my video back without affecting my audio. How do I unlink them when there are two events butted right up against eachother? If the clip is not touching anything, I've found I can just hold Ctrl and Alt while dragging the edge of the clip.
These were some of my bigger questions. I do come from a Premiere background, so I could be thinking of things incorrectly. I just like the ease of applying audio filters to clips, adjusting rubberbands quickly and easily for individual clips, and only having to hold down ALT to cut audio independent of video in Premiere.
Thank you for your insights.
