Okay so im trying to achieve this look were the image begins to flicker(naturally and random) but phale oranges, yellows, and reds. Its a strange technique and hard to explain, so I have a video if you have to you can glance at it. You can notice it mostly in the beginning.

I would give a direct link but I can't, anyways to get to the video you simply click on videos at the bottom. The video which the look is featured in is on the left side at the very bottom. The image is a child wearing a gas mask. Click on it and the video will load.

Thanks a lot in advance!

Well, I'm not exactly sure of the look you are meaning, but you can try the following:

First, duplicate your timeline, and throw copy 1 on top of copy 2. In copy 2, you can apply your colors by doing a sepia tone filter and selecting whatever color you want through sepia tone. To break it up, you will have to apply many cuts to the copy2 sequence and apply different colors in the cuts.

On copy 1, apply a blink filter and mess with the frame blink rate and the opacity to make the colored copy 2 shine through.

Very cool video BTW, is it yours? I can't wait to play with my kids in a nuclear holocoust....

That's just an "old film reel" filter with a sepia tone background behind it. You can:

- Buy a filter like that, plenty of them available from people like Graham Natress.
- Use the one in iMovie
- Or use the blink filter like I explained above (fool around with the settings to get the right look) and keyframe some scratches throughout the beginning (make some scratch lines in a transparent Photoshop file and move them around in the frame real quick).
