A Christmas Story 2

OK, please don't start the "Don't ruin my childhood with a lame sequel" rants. I spent 4 weeks on set since my kid played Flick. This was shot in Vancouver and I really liked the cast and crew. Warner distributed the direct to video production and it was shot on Red Epic.
Thanks for watching.

I know this is the Film Discussion section but I think, in this particular topic, some of these comments are pretty harsh. Especially considering the OP's son was in this movie. He is obviously a (deservedly) proud father who spent time on the set of a movie his son had a big part in. The same movie many of you are bashing without having actually seen it. Not cool.

Even if you have seen it, and didn't like it, maybe you could just let the guy be a proud parent and keep your opinions to yourself for one topic. To say you can't imagine this movie being good or that you won't watch it or that this movie "does not exist" is cynical and rude. Yes, this is the Film Discussion section but there is a way of stating opinions that might not hurt his son's feelings, if he were to read this topic. Please delete or edit your comments so that future visitors to DVXuser will see a much more welcoming and supportive community of members and filmmakers.

Now that I've ruined the flow of this topic....

Congratulations to your son for being in a movie! Very cool.

You're right about why the thread was posted, so I've moved it here.

I've deleted the other posts, but I want to make it clear that they were all totally appropriate for the Film Discussion section.
