A brief hello

Hello.

I was tempted to stop there, but I didn't want to be that guy.

Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself a little. I'm a writer and looking for a community to interact with. (...with which to interact. Ha.) I used to be relatively active on the rottentomatoes forums, but then they dropped dead, so after looking around here a little, I like what I see.
 
Welcome! Always good to have another member. You might want to choose an avatar for yourself to help personalize your posts.

Basically, you should start in this forum by reading all of KyleMD's threads. He's one of the more successful screenwriters here, having sold a spec script for low-to-mid six figures a little while back. He's a repository of useful information and a great all-around guy.

Then, the stickies here have some good information. Worth browsing.

We usually don't see more than a few posts a day on this forum, but we do have a pretty solid group of regulars. Smart, helpful, and pretty decent writers too. It's good not to post here too often, after all, since, being writers, we do have to write!

You might also want to check out the DoneDealPro message boards. Pretty active and almost entirely devoted to screenwriting.
