Im looking to purchase a new boom mic for my dvx100b, I did my research but want to know if you guys know any out their that have great sound, and are a decent price. Something nice, any suggestions??

on camera everything everything works ;-)
go for the cheapest - rode or the chiniz rode killer - no name meantime
for something that better then these 2 look for at -4073

Actually,
I know many will disagree with me, but I have two Azden SGM-1x mics and absolutely love them. They came with a package of gear I bought, but I use them constantly on everything from interviews to sporting events. As a matter of fact, I work on production crews for sporting events and my Audio guys prefer to use them over the more expensive AT's. although nothing sounds as good as the 416's, but for the price, I highly recommend them.

Pretty true. For on camera work I often use a couple of Sony 1-542-233 (stock mic for many Sony ENG cameras) which are sturdy workhorses. Spent 40 euros for a couple of them on ebay. They're decent quality and unconspicuous.

I second that.
Got an AT4073a on ebay for $220 last year (do not expect to find it that cheap so easily, though) and it works like a charme both on camera and as a boom mic. Much much better than the Senn ME66 I've been using before.
