Hey guys,

I'm off to cycle across America and make a film about the journey and the people along the way.

Just launched the teaser, would be great if you wanted to have a gander!

<font size="2"><span style="font-family:arial;"><font size="2"><span style="color: rgb(20, 20, 20); background-color: rgb(250, 250, 250); font-size: x-small; "><span style="color: rgb(93, 143, 189); ">

Just a light setup. 5Dii, 16-35 mainly. Plus GoPro. Maybe a small 50mm prime too. A really crap, lightweight tripod + gorilla pod.

Combined with the other stuff, even travelling light is going to be crazy heavy!

Hi Mate,

Looks like a great video in the making. I hear you when you say travelling light will be crazy heavy, i just finished cycling from London to The Pyramids (via a ship across the Med) and filmed along the way. Took an A77 (for the rotating screen and peaking) Video Mic pro, 3 lenses, go pro and a tripod....I only took one T-shirt to keep the weight down!

If you interested our website for the journey is http://www.sidetrackedproject.com

Best of luck to you on your journey...Remember to double check your focus whilst out on the road as when your freezing, tired, and hungry after a 100km day it's easy to just miss your focus and all of a sudden - you've lost the shot!

cheers

Paul

My only criticism at this point would be you need to clean up the narration at the beginning of the trailer by removing plosives and such.

Good Luck with your project!
