So we were on our way back from Birmingham today and the wifey and I stopped at Best Buy in Montgomery to drool a little.
The had a Sony Bravia 40" xbr2 set up with a blu-ray player.
That was the first and only HDTV that literally took my breath away. The cleanest picture I have ever seen in store (the only place I have seen them
). They have a 46" version as well. But anyways, this thing was going for 2640ish. They must have had 50 different HDTV's in the store of all the flavors. Plasma, DLP, etc. etc.
I went around to everyone of them, and nothing could touch it. Not even close. It was gorgeous. Granted the stores usually screw up the displays in some manner. Poor settings, poor feed, putting sd on it, etc. But this was... wow. I want one!
