Just got in my CD for Vegas Pro 9. I did the trail version to see how it works before buying it. Anyway I was told it was 9.0d but I have the trial version still on my computer and the CD says that the version 9 is an older version then my trial version.

Is there any differences between CD or download of the internet? When I called Sony they said I could either have a disk sent to me or do a download of the net. It was an extra $15 for the disk so I figure it would be best to have the disk if need be.
 
Possibly the disk is 9.0c? I'd suggest uninstalling the demo version before installing the full version anyway. Download is a whole lot more convenient - unless you don't have broadband, of course...
