80-200MM question

Hi there,
I did a search and found that people were using Nikon zoom lenses as well as primes, all the way up to f5 or so. Do you think the 80-200mm f2.8 nikkor telephoto on the Brevis would work out? I'm wondering about vignetting and light loss. 2.8 seems acceptable, but I don't have a Brevis yet to try. For outdoor use, for example, what's the slowest lens that would still work? I'm just not sure how fast is necessary, and I'd like to balance price with speed. Thanks!
Graham

G, our latest "L" series imaging elements have opened up a large number of lenses for use the Brevis while providing full frame performance (no vignetting). That 80-200 will work just fine outdoors, and in fact, you'll have to stop it down a few stops or use an ND filter(s) to cut exposure.

Cheers,

I got my CF1L today. Thanks, Dennis! I'm going to install it on Saturday.

T, all the CF options are within .002" of each other in size. They have to be in order to guarantee that any will fit perfectly into any of the Rev2 adapters :-)

nono, i mean is the Diffusion material thinner. I know the brevis i used had its diffuser in a holder. i was wondering if the diffuser was a thinner wafer of "Material-X".

You should talk to Jim Lafferty, he has some amazing Diffusers. BKLYNDV on DVxuser.
