Hello, to anyone who is listening and thanks. I'm currently using Vegas 8.1 on a Vista 64 bit system. My problems I'll list.
- No preview allowed while capturing HD video from a Canon XH-A1
- Batch capturing of standard DV works, but crashes the program as soon as I open it in the preview and start editing. I recaptured the same video as one whole piece and that worked fine.
- Working with HD footage in a standard NTSC format crashes the program. I'm trying to add the footage I shot to a project and it works, until I try to trim the footage and boom! Freeze up!
- I know there are a few other problems, I just can't think of them right now.
Bottom line. I really enjoy editing with Vegas and am mostly happy with my investment, except with the issues that I listed.
If anyone has any information that could help me solve any of these issues, I'd be eternally grateful! Thanks for this great site.
