750w lamp housing in a Source Four Jr?

I just realized today that the lamp housing of my source four 750w fits onto my Source Four Jr. Zoom lens assembly. Is there any reason why I should use it this way? Is it too much heat for the Jr Zoom?

Also why is the housing for the 750w 26 degree so much bigger than the JR zoom that can do 25-50 degrees? In the photography world Zoom lenses are typically bigger than their prime counterparts.

I love my Zoomspots, they're great. I don't think it's a good idea to put the 750 W assembly on the Jr. They're not rated to handle the heat. Of course, you could try it but things might start melting... Especially that filter which cuts out a lot of the heat.
