720p25 ?

Hello,
Quick question.
Is it possibble to film with this camera in 720p at 25 frames/sec... Can't seem to find this
I'm only seeing 720P50..

25 is PAL and the 300 doesn't do it. For $800 I understand Panasonic will do an upgrade to allow the 300 to shoot PAL.

If it can shoot 720p50 then it's an extremely straightforward conversion from 50p to 25p, just drop every second frame.

On my HPX301,

SYSTEM SETUP:

System mode: 720-50p

Rec Format: AVC-I 100 /25pn (you can also select AVC-I 50/25pn or DVCPROHD / 25pn)

You can also do under and over cranking in this mode and you can set the frame rate in the scene file.

Indeed, now it records is 25fps. Thru the viewfinder it looks a bit "stuttery" but de video itself once its transfered on my mac looks fine. Is that normal?

Yes the viewfinder is not the best to judge and playback from P2 card within the camera can be a bit soft but all is Ok in the edit and final delivery.

I think the native progressive on the 301 looks very good and I use it all the time.
