I am baffled at this one. I created a sequence to edit a TV spot. The spot consists of an interview shot at 1080 and b-roll shot at 720p on the Sony F3 as XDCAM EX format.
When I edited the sequence at 1080 and played it back everything was normal. Looked good. However since most of the footage will be 720p and only a couple shots are at 1080 I re-edited the spot at a timeline of 720p. Also I wanted to zoom into and size up a couple of the 1080 shots.
Now when I play this timeline in quickly falls out of sync to the monitor. By the time the spot ends it is way out of sync.
I tried everything, restarting the program and the computer. Tried different setting from the AJA Kona etc... still the 1080 sequence plays fine the 720 does not. How could this be?
