I need to make copies of a 720p30 footage out of FCP to miniDV or some other inexpensive/simple format.
I've run tests with a dvx100 (used as a deck) and a DSR-1500a. I've used "print to video" to MiniDV tape straight from the 720p sequence and from a downrezed DV sequence.
Each method seems to work except for some crappy looking jagged edges. I'm thinking interlacing issue but not sure. Looks great on the computer as a captured QT file, but when I play the DV tape on a monitor, those jagged edges really show through if there's any movement in the frame.
Any ideas on what I could be doing wrong?
