720p (48fps) slow motion to 200% "normal" speed?

Hey guys...

I have some HVX 720p 48fps footage that I'd like to ramp up to "normal" speed. When I increase the speed to 200% I get a lot of - for lack of a better term - ghosting. In other words, frames look like they are duplicated and offset giving the appearance of streaking / ghosting.

Deinterlacing does not fix this.

Any ideas about how to get a clean image based on this 200% increase scenario?
