DESPERATELY SEEKING DVX100AE (PAL)

Wow I am SO stoked to find this forum. It's one of the best I've ever seen, on any subject. You guys even made a battery! DVXuser.com rocks!!
 
Here's my dilemma, I've checked out the DVX and am making the leap. I need to find and purchase a PAL DVX100AE in LA in the next 72 hours before I depart for South Africa to shoot my film, will pay cash. i'm calling on all members to help me in this quest.  
 
My departure date is inflexible unfortunately and I need a PAL because all my partners/sponsors in SA are PAL based. All info and input is desperately welcome, please feel free to call direct. If there's a DVX alarm bell, can we ring it?

Also looking for local retailer of MCE Quickstream DV, seems to be ahot item, none in stock.

Have you called EVS yet? Ask for Rush or Cody for a friend of the family discount! 8)

The consensus seems to be that the PAL version won't be available in the US for another 2 weeks or so (if you want a US warranty). Check with Winston at Biz-Max.net if you're OK with grey market (he'll give a 90 day personal warranty). His prices are competitive and he's in the Bay area. Also check w/ Ramsey at the Glendale EVS office 800-238-8480.

For the MCE Quickstream call their office directly 949.458.0800 and ask for Matt Bogart - matt@mcetech.com. They're located in Irvine about an hour and half drive from LA and they are very together!

Thanks very much chaps, no luck yet but certainly great some good new leads. May end up ordering from Globalmediapro out of NZ, although still won't get it in time, anyone dealt with those guys before?

They are based in Singapore, but they can ship it to you whan you arrive in south africa.
Ask daniel or steven they are very helpful.
