70s version of how to tail a car

So I just bought the first season of, "Charlie's Angels" (mock if you want) and let me tell you how back in the 1970s they tailed a car...

They wait for the car to pull out, they follow about 1/2 a car length away!!!

Were we really that dumb in the 70s (okay, we did wear hip hugger pants).

Ack, the Challenger in Vanishing Point would've kicked Bullit's @$$.

Actually, it ran circles around the Stang... they had to modify the Stang so the fender wells would stay in tact... but even then, the Challenger kicked it's ass...

But I'd still rather have the Mustang...
