7-year old chases robber

Typical dumb news spin. She was "chasing" him in the sense that they're both running in the same direction. The story gives the impression that she's doing a brave thing when in real life this is just stupid and dangerous. Letting your 7 years old run after a man with a gun; really smart.

The part where she's hiding under her security blanket is hilarious. What an absurd, surreal story. It seems like that entire report is fictional.
 
And now you know why I posted it... :)

I kept waiting for her to say, "I'm gonna come at that robber like a spider monkey!".
 
after watching this video, i think we can all agree that children should be given greater access to firearms. that way the little girl could have jumped over the counter and shot the robber to death as the mother yelled out, "say hello to my little friend!"
 
Man, the stupid mother has her kid sitting on the counter during an armed robbery then lets her chase the guy out the door???. At least the kid had the sense to get on the ground when the guy aimed at her. Someone is obviously trying to make a cute story out of pure ignorance.

I've seen too many of these where the guy just shoots the clerk, either accidentally, because he is nervous or does it on his way out the door just for bragging rights. At least this wasnt one of those.
