so i bought one today(used) and it has a little trouble getting on. i kind of have to give it a little push..but it does snap on - so to speak.
(1) is this normal at all? the model number reads for the DVX100 not DVX100A..that shouldn't matter right? i have a 100A by the way.

(2) also, when not attached to the DVX, the ring is somewhat tight..almost like it needs some WD-40 to loosen it up some. my other .6 lens is way more fluid..what can i do to lube it up? or should i just let it be?

otherwise..i love the glass.

Hmm, you shouldn't have any trouble putting it on. And the ring is smooth on mine. Not silky smooth, but no real effort to turn it.

WD-40 sounds a bit strong to use around a lens. Maybe call EVS and ask them.

Anyway, it's some great glass.:love4:
