So i bought the six bank 655p cool light and stand from cool light. I really love this light, it's a beast in terms of light output. However I am having major issues with getting the stand adaptor in the back to hold the light up. I already emailed richard and he suggested rightfully so that i didnt tighten it correctly and that i shredded the ball stem in the back. So it lost the traction needed to hold up the light. He sent me a new one two days later and i did as he told me. Tightened to the tightest point i could. First time it held up the light reasonably well. However second time same issue, it can no longer hold up the light. The weight of the light sinks it pointing down.
Any owner of this light out there having the same issues i am having? I am thinking of taking it to a welder to see if he can come up with anytihng. Because i am having trouble believing that ball stem is sturdy enough to hold it up.
