60's or 70's Look

Can anyone recommend a film stock that would give me the look of a color 60's or 70's movie? Or even a spaghetti western kind of look.

Super 8 64T Ektachrome has a grainy, grungy documentary look of the 70's. 7285 100D 16mm Ektachrome holds together better while still offering the documentary news look of the era.

Reversal is really the way to go to recapture the nostalgia of the 70's, 60's or 50's with the rich contrast and color. The grain in these films has a very natural look.

Spectra can handle the processing and sell your super 8 at a discounted price.

Kodak will sell the 16. Spectra will do a great job on the 16 (or 35mm) E-6 processing.

Good luck.

Super 8 might be too grainy if you are going to blow it up to 35 or something. It would look like a home movie from the 70s, if that's what you want. I would use regular 16mm. Some of those can be pretty grainy, especially blown up.
