60i - 24p working together

Bag of Douche
While I was shooting (I was , and still am new to the camera) the scene settings switch got bumped to F4 instead of F5, I didn't notice until I had finished multiple timelapses that I had fudged it up along with some character movement

Now, I can work with the 60i footage seperately on a 60i timeline and render it and do that, but then when I have an avi of that, and put that with the rest of the rendered final products, how should I render the final output? What would happen if I rendered 24p (2,3 cadence, not 2,3,3,2.. correct?)

What would be the best way of handling this?

I mix 60i and 24p all the time. Hell most of my backdrops are 60i and all my shot footage is always 24pa.

Set your project properties to 24p and edit away. You sometimes will get weird motion blur doubling in you 60i footage but during playback it looks great.

Render to what ever you want.

Ah - but it seems if I work in 24p, and render out to 24 with 2,3,2 cadence, the 60i loses ALOT of resolution

Even in editor the 60i stuff beecomes more blurry when working on a 24p timeline versus a 29.97 timeline. (in "Good fullscreen" the change is quite noticable)

Perhaps it looked bad because I rendered it out in uncompressed... I dunno I'll try rendering it out at 2,3,3,2 see if that keeps the quality good...

Do you notice this blurriness and loss in quality with 60i, is there any way to sidestep this problem?
