600 LED from China Review

Just got my first LED light from China:

I have to say for the price its hard to beat. It comes with Anton or Panasonic battery mount, wired dimmer and some filters. The light is very bright, around 605k. Dimming doesn't seem to shift in colour but I always white balance before shooting. The side flags work well to control the light but I might make some magnetic reflective flags that can stick on to bounce more light in (I love projects). I'll be ordering 2 more to have a full set and I'm looking for a case to hold all 3.

I also got the 160 LED on camera that I'll use as a small spot/fill. The light is the same colour, dimmable and dirt cheap.:

Oh, and free shipping

My 2 bits.

Do any of the LED's in the 600 LED fixture appear green/purple/magenta?

Did you test the fixture on a DC power source? When the DC power sources voltage dropped was there a noticeable shift of color/lux?

What is the fixture made out of mostly? Aluminum? Plastic?

The link you posted is a 160 LED unit. I didn't see any side flags..

I found it. It's the top link.
I thought 59.00 was too good to be true.

I have that light and it works...but that's about it. The plastic is really cheap and I'm afraid the mount will break anytime. The color is very green, almost balances to fluorescent. I only use it when I NEED light and have nothing else to work with.
