60 fps on a 23.98 fps timeline without slow mo effect?

Greetings,

I shot some aerial footage with the 7D at 60 fps. There are nice moments, but there is quite a bit of jello with the rolling shutter. I wanted to pull some clips without slowing them down for my 23.98 timeline. What is the best method for conforming the footage without over-cranking it?

Cinema Tools?
FCP?

Thank you for your help with this.

Hey FSM crew!

Generally, I've found simply dropping the transcoded ProRes files (still in 59.94 or 60p) onto a FCP 23.98 sequence yields perfectly fine results. You simply import the clips like you would with anything else, then drop them on the 23.98 timeline.

Cheers!
