6.0c ?

I went to the web site to see if there were any updates to version 6 and it offers 6.0c. When I had originally tried the demo version it was 6.0b. Buying the disc gives you version 6.0a. Has anyone updated to 6.0c? Is there a benefit to doing so?

Not to sound dense, but why WOULND'T you upgrade to 6.0c, if you had any of ther earlier releases of 6.0?? If I've purchased a software, I've also paid for any of the updates/fixes they come out with. I'll always automatically upgrade, as I never know when one of the fixes will be for something I'll use in the future.

Yes, upgrade.

Perhaps it was a silly question, but I had initially downloaded the trial version which was 6.0B and it had limited features so wanted to make sure I wasn't taking a step back. I'm use to versions that up by numbers ie: 6.1, 6.2 etc. . . But yeah I upgraded. Thanks

Maybe his coming from a Premiere background, where they actually charge you for the updates :) I know, low blow, low blow, but I'm still sore from my premiere career.

CHARGE for updates??? That's absolute crap. Maybe it's because they use the number system, and they're trying to call it a new release vs. an update. Glad I found Vegas before any other NLE.

I think at this point I've tried 'em all; the reason I got Vegas is all the hype in this forum (plus a nudge from an engineer at work). I came from Media100, Avid, then at home I started with Pinnacle, Premiere (AVID free) & now Vegas. Vegas is cool it's just a lot different to what I'm use to.
