5DtoRGB not working correctly on Mac - quits at end of conversion

I'm a Mac user and downloaded 5DtoRGB to transcode my MTS files to ProRes for editing, but every time I try to convert an MTS file, the software goes through its paces, the status bar reaches 100& and then I get an error message saying

5DtoRGB quit unexpectedly.
Click Reopen to open the application again. Click Report to see more detailed information and send a report to Apple.

The file doesn't convert fully and I cannot get the resulting file to work. I've copied Thomas Worth on this in the hope that he can shed some light on this. Any ideas or suggestions for what I should do? Thanks in advance!
 
Hey Thomas, no, I'm using Snow Leopard (10.6.x). I tried it on both my desktop and on my laptop, with identical results.

Try checking the "Disable Muxing" checkbox and see if the conversion finishes OK. Based on what happens after doing that, I'll know where to look for the problem.
