5D RAW > raw2dng > lightroom > premier

I have very little knowledge about editing, especially in premier. I just got CS6 and was wondering if someone would tell me how the workflow in the title works.

I am fine with getting the converting the raw images to dng's and bringing them into lightroom. I just don't know how to keep the raw (dng) images in their current format and import them into premier so I can still work on them in premier. I have been able to bring them in as jpeg's but i want them to stay as raw images.

I know this probably isn't the fast workflow but i have a variety of presets in lightroom that i like to use.

Please help. Remember i don't know a whole lot about premier.

There is no one that can help me with this?

Also, I don't know if I have my settings wrong in the timeline but when I play back the clips all together on the timeline (in Premier CS6) they appear to very slow...would i be right in saying that each of the raw files is 5sec long?? Not sure what is going on here.
