Only getting right channel.. if that is a stereo mic, would be nice if you said if that is mono or you dropped a channel..... recorded stereo and dropped the left channel?

Not really sure what the Magic Lantern software is supposed to do? If it's noise reduction.. I have it ......

I don't like Microcrap, prefer Edirol R-09HR.

Would never use a Juicelink. Not a fan of a preamp into a preamp.

Just use the 5D for scratch audio and double on a decent recorder, with a decent mic.

Yes, this is one of the devices out of our purchase list after the Jon Fairhurst's tests published there on the links above-posted. Take a better look and you'll find why.
