Kinda wished I didn't have the camera today, would have loved to be out in the water.
Can't leave the Canon on the beach though, shucks. Oh well... Here's a local kid dropping in on a pretty big shorebreak. You pretty much land on sand, and then go through the rag-doll-washingmachine routine before surfacing a min later just to go out and do it again.

Boy I do also... it's funny as hell about the pictures I used to be impressed by until I went on kp duty. Okay so I see a lot of good photography posted on DVXuser... actually it's amazing the level of quality from LOTS of members! But...

I was TOTALLY sold on going Nikon my next time around... even though I've owned Canon my whole life... but thanks to THIS guy I'll probably get another Canon... oh yeah and a Tamron to pop on it.

Pictures of people standing around are cool... but uh, check this sh*t out... dude you have made my heart skip a beat so many times that I'm getting scared to open your threads.

Mattin, you are my number one fan! I'm actually way more into filmmaking but still feel the image quality has a bit of catching up to do.
Can't wait for the RED cam, I'm all over it.

I haven't! Been to Bahamas, to Tenerife, to Krit, but not Hawaii...

And now that it's 14° outside and I won't have time to go anywhere untill April at the very least, you go and post these photos... I hate ya :furious3:

But, of course, what I mean to say is they're great, as usually, and you know it. Keep up the good work :thumbsup:

No I haven't been to HI yet... me and my GF talk about it all the time though. Back in my TWA days I could have gone for less then $100 first class! D'oh! Who'da thought they'd close shop before I got my chance to see the islands?

Hey I'm sure I'm not putting a new idea in your head... but you should do a photo book of Hawaii. I know I'd buy one.

I wonder what WILL happen with the Red Camera? In case you have some throw away money to play with in the meantime... you should check out the HD ccd cams... no, not the high-end Sony's that bands use for concerts... the Sony knock-offs which use Sony chips in a Korean cam. Previously I didn't want to post anything I shot with rig-cams like that because I thought I'd be producing something unique... but since I'm not even in the "fest" this time around I don't know why I'm keeping this stuff to myself. Start googling cctv cams and security cams... it won't take long before you'll see that the Red Cam is very likely to come to fruition... all they really need to do is get some improved controls and a tape transport onto what's already available for machine vision or high-end security!

Anyway... back on topic. Keep the photos coming as you see fit. I hate to put this idea out there, but I swear I'd PAY to belong to this site because of stuff like you (and several others) put on here!
