58mm achromat instead of 72mm?

I`ve been experimenting with HVX and different achromatic close up lens and it seems that it is possible to capture 35mm frame even with smaller, 58mm diameter closeup lens without any kind of vignetting @ zoom 77 or higher. I quess that applies to DVX too.
So why are everybody using those pricy 72mm $300+ HD achromats?
Becuse possible edge softness of smaller diameter CU lens?

Could this 58mm 10x HD achromat be one alternative?

I haven´t contacted the seller but one thing that boters me is what I see on the product photo, the inner diameter is much smaller than it is usually.

I have always been curious about those "Opteka achromats". They dont have Century Optics street credit, but they say they are multi-element achromats. Hopefully if someone buys one they will show the results here in the threads.

It looks like the thread is 58mm, and the lens itself is much smaller. Sounds like trouble.
