5600 cool lights

I'm trying to put together a kit and had a couple questions.. do those 200w CL-SFT1 Softbox Kit's put out enough light? isn't the measurement of this stuff different?

Same with the LED they sell.. how much light does that put out? I would like a nice three point daylight kit..
 
Very little feedback on the LED panel just yet - what is out there though is very positive. The Coollights softbox kit is very bright. Probably about 800 watts equivalent and is beautiful. The only drawback IMO is the bulkiness of the bulbs. They're not designed for run and gun where as the LEDs may be a bit easier for that.

That aside, CFLs are preferred in many cases over LEDs when you're mixing with other instruments. If you're looking for 3 of each of these (CFL or LED) then you'll be fine. LEDs are twice the cost of the softbox kits but I know I can pack the suckers up and carry them on a plane if necessary. I'm not sure I would even feel comfortable packing or checking the CFL bulbs.

Richard has got great products, I don't think you'll go wrong with either. It's more a matter of what your needs are and which is right for the job.

thanks for the response, I think I'll pick up a CFL.. for under 300.00, I dont think you could really go wrong.. I think if I bought a pelican for the bulbs if I had to travel it would still make sense.
