50p in 25p timeline

I have some 720p 50p footage shot on HVX200 that i need to edit on 25p timeline. It was ingested using raylight. I cannot use the FCP framerate converter, it says that this file is not suitable to be converted to 25p?? anyway i'm new to FCP have allways used Avid, just wish avid was more HD friendly. Can anyone suggest a way of geting this footage onto the timeline? thanks in advance.
 
I'm using the "P2 Log" passthrough Codec... available on their website. I still have to render it though :(

Edit it as slow mo footage. And then speed it up later. There must be a setting to slow it down to 25P
