I've always used the manfrotto 503/525 mvb combination for my tripod but it feels to heavy to carry around and I think its causing me to avoid using it.
I'm using a HDSLR (GH1) and I originally bought the 5034/525 for a DVX100.
Any suggestions on a tripod setup or possibly different legs I could use with the 503? What do you guys think of the 503/525 combo, is it too heavy for other?
