Dude, we've been pimpin' GMail accounts around here like mad.

You might get some takers, but several of us had the 50 free GMail accounts and we've been offering them up for the last two or three months.

Soon, everyone on Earth will have 50 free GMail accounts to give away.  ;)

Don't worry... before you can give them away, GMail will give you *another* 50 invites. You'll never run out.

Apparently, you've only had your account a short while. Initially, they just gave me single-digit invites. Once I started giving them away and people actually signed up, then I was given 50 invites. When I got down to about 30-something left, it suddenly refreshed to a new 50 invites.

They probably haven't refreshed mine because I hardly use my gmail account.

if you use gmail a lot everytime they change something in the beta, even the smallest bug, or feature, they give you more invites to test it out with...right now they are testing amounts of traffic over their servers...

If you were to look back a page or so in the Cafe, you'd notice a few other threads already in existence for GMail accounts. At first there were more takers than offers.

It took a while before I was able to snag one. Then, suddenly, it seemed everyone had invites to hand out... including me!
