Just finishing up my 5 foot dolly system with materials I had around the garage. Still need to paint and the 100mm halfbowl.

I'm about to build a video studio, and thinking of building something similar for that. Well, most likely not as much steel as I can't weld but something that will be to impractical to bring to location but cheap and good for use in the studio...

It comes apart so it shouldn't be too bad. Stands are heavy though. They raise to about 5 feet.

I'm looking to build something similar. I'm particularly curious about how you created the ends that attach to the rails and what you did to attach it to the tripod/light stand.
