5.8GHz Transmitter for HDMI?

Not quite aerial cinematography, but relevant. I'm trying to build a cheap wireless monitor solution and am interested in incorporating an FPV monitor with a built-in receiver so I don't have to velcro batteries everywhere.

Is it possible to hook a 5.8GHz transmitter of some sort up to my camera's (C100) HDMI port, and have it work with something like this?
 
You would need a HDMI to composite converter for 5.8Ghz analogue, if you can afford more money though there is the DJI Lightbridge that can transmit HDMI for up to 3.1 miles (with an upgraded aerial).
