4x4 Filters for mattebox?

1st: what are you using them for?

When it comes to ND for exterior shoots, I prefer to use GRADS in 4x6, because you float them up and down to get just the right exposure in the sky. I use a set of .3, 6 and .9 from LEE that only cost me 191 bucks. They're resin, not glass, and yes I would prefer glass but I'm not rich.

in addition to these it's nice to have some corals, blues and red GRADS is 4x6 as well.

The cokins are OK, and I have had some good results with them. Plus you can often pick them up off ebay in sets people are clearing out. About $4-8 a pop so peanuts really. If you don't like them chuck 'em back on ebay!

Formatt do some very nice 4x4 filters. You can get them at B&H. Great quality as well.
