4k Monitor for Editing?

Are there any good 4k monitors out there that you would recommend in the $500 ball park range for editing and color grading? Pretty much everything I shoot and edit is for the web. I won't be using it for Blu Ray, HDTV or anything related to Rec709 working space.
 
HD "grading" monitors typically start in the $4k or $5k range. Even a decent quality HD broadcast monitor will run at least $2k. A 4k grading monitor will run you in the low to mid 5 figures.

Try finding a used monitor. If you're primary delivery is for the web, then you don't need a 4k grade 1 monitor. A gently used HD broadcast monitor connected to your computer via SDI will be more than good enough. You can also use an HDMI interface from AJA or Black Magic to connect to a high quality, well calibrated "consumer" TV.
