Just a quickie, are there any companies that make 1066mhz ddr3 single 4gb ram modules for mac?
I want to upgrade my iMac to 8gb of ram but there are only 2 ram slots so I need 2x4gb.
Thanks, first time Ive found a single 4gb module. $370 is pretty pricey for 4gb, I think Ill stick with 2x2gb for now and upgrae once the prices come down.
To stop another topic...I ordered 4x2gb 1066mhz under the impression it was 2x4gb, will the 2x2gb I have left over work on my Dads iMac which is the previous generation? Im in doubt seeing as it is meant to only support 800mhz.
