The 48HourFilm.com short film contest is in Louisville this weekend. OfficeRocker Productions along with 25 other teams will be invading the streets starting tonight at around 7pm.

At the kickoff tonight they will unveil the three secret ingredients: a prop, a character and a line of dialog. Further, each team will randomly draw a genre from a hat. So, we could be doing a comedy, Sci-fi, a western or who knows what.

Wish us luck!

we do our this weekend as well we've won twice in arow, so were hoping for a hat trick.

There are 26 teams. 13 to each group. There are 14 genres. Each group of 13 gets one of the 14 genres.

Of all the genres the one I least wanted was the one we got - Silent Film.

Our secret ingredients are:
Prop - A napkin
Character - Nate or Natalie Wardman - a retired police officer
Line of dialog - I promise it will never happen again

There also has to be a Louisville landmark somewhere in the film.

We finally came up with a decent idea. So, I am going to go sleep for a few hours and get up nice and early and get started.
