Hoping to get a crew together for fun and experience for this years 48 Hour Film Project. Anyone from Austin that is interested in starting a crew for this let me know by calling 947-8911 or emailing joedoetsch@gmail.com.
Check out www.48hourfilm.com for more information.
The Jist:
A crew sets out on a Friday at 7pm, The team is given a Line of Dialogue, A Prop, A Character and a Genre. All Scripts, Principal Photography, Editing and Sound must be completed as a final Film and turned in no later than the following Sunday at 7pm. 48 Hours is given to create a short, no more and no less. It seems like alot of fun and could give some great experience. The entry fee is $125 for a complete team and this can be split between all of us who enter. Contact me if anyone is interested in checking it out.
The winning film of each city will go into the final running of all other city winners for the grand prize. The winning city team gets a paid trip and admission into the final screening at either SXSW or another large Film Festival. All city films will be screened within the city at local theaters as they are judged by audience in order to win the city. Other categories are judged including Cinematography, Directing, Creativity, Best Use of Prop, Best Use of Dialogue Etc, Etc.
Lets get together and have some fun!
