4053a vs. Oktava

I have been searching this forum and can't really find any definite opinions on the AT4053a. I'm obviously looking for a hyper and I'm wondering if the AT4053a is worth double the price of the Oktava. I'm also open to other hypers hopefully in the similar price-range (looking around $500ish, possibly at bit more, but not quite into the Schoeps range).

for less then 700 usd you have mbho 603 + ka 500 hyper cardioid , sound extrimly well . this is a major leag mic

I'd recommend the AKG se300b/CK93 hyper. I own both it and the Oktava and easily prefer the CK93. The se300b/CK93 combo cost just under $400 from B&H. And if you are using it for only indoors, you don't need the BBG like you do for the Oktava, so the prices become very close.

Thanks for the input! I haven't heard much about the MBHO, not to mention it's kind of hard to find someone that carries them. I have heard good things about the AKG Blueline. So I'm thinking in that price range then ($700ish) the AKG ULS is also kind of close to that. MBHO vs. AKG ULS, what do you think?

dont have any problem use any of them ,
both sounds terrific
the akg in states is about 350 more

Thanks Oleg! I checked out prices and looks like I'm going to go with the MBHO. Once again you come through with great advice.
