Hi,

I have a stage, 12 feet wide by 12 feet deep. One model on stage to shoot.

What would be the difference between putting one diva lite 400 on both sides in front of the model, and putting one 2 bank 4' foto flo (Vertically) on both sides?

I mostly do weddings, but I just got into doing fashion shoots on a hobby basis, so I am a newbie at this!
 
Light output mostly, and even lighting (top to bottom Coverage) . If you want a white background, I would supplement your kit with at LEAST 2 more Diva's, just to make your background brighter. Edge/hair/fill with a third light.
If you shoot a bride(for example) with a long train on her dress, your going to need the extra light/instruments.
Your fashion shoots may be limited to waist up and very close to the background without additional lights.
You don't necessarily need flo lights on your background, you can use less expensive floods, cyc lights or open face fixtures for this task.
