Can I get my progressive video to play in a 4:3 aspect ratio in DVD Studio Pro? As it is right now, it's only giving me the option to go widescreen.

Thanks for the help.

What are you compressing with? (compressor, QuickTime?)
How are you importing into DVD studio?
24fps QT -> DVD studio will not run at 24fps.
Not sure why you're forced into widescreen. All settings have option for standard or widescreen.

I was bring the AVI with the pulldown into DVD studio and then transcoding it in there.

what exactly is compressor? just a 3rd party app designed for compressing files?

Compressor is an application that comes with FCP. Several choices and settings for outputting MPEG-2 files for DVD use.
Yes, it also comes with DVD-SP. I have the boxed retail versions of each and can verify.

The only way to burn a native 24p DVD in DVD-SP is to use Compressor (or any external encoder). There is no way to burn a 24p DVD if you encode in FCP with Quicktime, or AVI export. DVD-SP will transcode it (rather sloppily, and with an incorrect pulldown) to 29.97 if you import a Quicktime or .AVI

As I say, the only way to make a 24p DVD in DVD-SP is to import a previously encoded .M2T file. It just can't be done with a QT or AVI.

You must have compressor (or another external third party app.) !
