3rd party plugins in Vegas pro 9 x64

I am considering the upgrade to SOny Vegas Pro 9 x64, but am having trouble getting my 3rd party plugins (from various vendors) to load into it. In Vegas 8, you simply run the .exe and it magically appears in Vegas, but not so in Pro 9 x64. Can anyone out there give me some advice and instruction on how to do this?
Is it even possible? I know Sony has gone all anal with Pro 9.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.
 
See my earlier post re Sony Noise Reduction - as Ranjan says, 32 bit plugins just don't work. The good news is that at least you get both 32 and 64 bit versions of Vegas 9 together at no extra cost - I'll be running both versions for the forseeable future, i expect...
