3G iphone flash player yet?

Is there a plug in for this yet or any way of getting it to work ?

I'm even having trouble viewing some quicktime clips.
 
nope. not yet, and not too likely anytime soon. Jobs dissed Adobe a nice one about how crappy their flash is and didnt want the garbage flash lite version windows mobile gets.

BUT what I dont see as being to difficult would be for someone to make a new app for the app store as a browser that has a flash plugin support. Flash being native on the iphone wont happen, but that doesnt stop anyone from making a new browser app for the app store that has flash built into it.

i wish places like crackle.com , collegehumor.com and break.com would make their own apps so i can watch those videos on the iphone. like the youtube app lets me

They really need to make a app. for the camera to work as video too.

Apple has a competing technology to Flash that they are promoting to web users. So obviously not supporting Flash will help promote that technology to website that want their work available on the iPhone.

In short, I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for Apple to support Flash or collaborate with Adobe.
 
Just got my 3G this weekend ... definitely liking it so far. Haven't ventured into the app store yet, any really cool/useful apps I should check out first?

My favorite app is the $20 app called "beatmaker."

There's also an app called "simplify" that turns your computer into a server so that you can stream music from itunes into your iphone. Basically, this means you don't have to fill your iphone up with music because you will always have all the music your computer at home holds with you (as long as the computer is on).

My favorite game app is called "cube runner." Be sure to turn it on widescreen in the settings for most enjoyable playing.

When using Path Tracker, does the screen stay on the whole time? I'm reading some reviews about it draining battery. I'd prefer to let the iPhone's screen stay off and check my path updates every once in a while.
 
I am also a big fan of the Urbanspoon App. It's free, and helps me find good food. The iTRANS PATH and NYC Subway apps are very handy too, for those of us in the NYC area.

I want an iphone, but I hate ma bell, I am wondering about these so called ipone killers like the verison dare, how do the apps and internet speeds match up?

Have they finally created a plug in to allow my Gen 1 iphone TYPE IN JAPANESE!!!!!?
its killing me.
The itouch gets it, but not the phone.
I need this bad.

So I'm only on my second full day with it and I'm noticing the battery drains pretty quickly. I just did some searching and found this is a common issue (glad to know it's not defective) and have done many of the suggestions to improve life (turn off wi-fi, location services, 3g, etc) which is all fine even if a bit annoying to have to turn on/off as needed.

Has anyone invested in any of the external battery boosters (portable charging devices) and if so, any recommendations? One advantage is that I'm sitting at a computer all day, so I think I'll get a second regular charger to put at my desk here at work so I can recharge during the day and not run out of charge in the evening
 
Path Tracker seems to be ON all the time. Steve won't let things run in background... so I think if you get a call on the bike you're hosed.

Yes, battery is an issue, but mine is plugged in when EVER it isn't on my hip... AND when I'm in the car. BTW... voice over AUX via aux cable is just perfect!
