3d text layer rendering problem

Hi all,

I'm placing a text layer in my timeline, and making the layer a 3d layer. I've placed this text over my video, and masked it so that it exists behind someone on the screen. It looks perfect when i ram preview, but when I make a movie, the text layers appear as if they have completely different x y and z coordinates. I have no idea whats going on, and can't find any documentation on the subject. Has anyone run into this problem? Any suggestions?

thanks in advance.

no virtual cameras, and one comp. I tried pulling the first comp into a new one and in the second comp it looks like how it looks when i render out of the first (ie, xyz all out of wack)

Is the video a 3D layer too?
Make sure that all of your 3D layers don't have a Z value of 0, if so they overlap and you don't know what's front and what's behind. 2D layering is a different concept from 3D layering.
Also since you masked the person and you put the text behind him, what's they need for 3D layers?

i made the text 3d to place it "into" objects in the scene.

the video is a 2d layer...
